Digital Chaos and Danish Bears Bow Out Of The Zotac Cup Masters Day 3

After squeaking into the playoffs round, Danish Bears and Digital Chaos have been eliminated. Here is the Zotac Cup Masters Day 3 recap.

Digital Chaos and Danish Bears were hoping to gain some success and recognition heading into the event. However, both teams simply just couldn’t get anything going in Day 3 of the event.

Zotac Cup Masters Day 3 – Digital Chaos vs Fnatic

The matchup had some drama into it as it featured six former teammates fighting against each other. QO, febby and DJ versus Forev, DuBu and Abed.

It’s safe to say that there was no love lost between the former comrades as the team split the first two games. However, a mid-lane Phantom Lancer pick for Kim “QO” Seon-yeop proved crucial for the game. And, in just 23 minutes, the newest iteration of Fnatic were able to send the NA team home.

Zotac Cup Masters Day 3 – Danish Bears vs iG.Vitality

The last-minute additions to the event, iG.Vitality, proved that they were worthy replacements with their strong performance at the Zotac Cup Masters Day 3.

While the Danes put up an admirable fight, the Chinese team were just too much for them and they were swept out of the tournament, 2-0.

Semi-Finals Matchup

After winning their respective matches in Zotac Cup Masters Day 3, both teams will now advance to the semi-finals tomorrow, June 2nd.

Fnatic is set to face-off against Newbee in the first match of the day, while iG.Vitality will take on Team NP.

Based on their strong showing at the Manila Masters, most already had Team NP and Newbee battling it out in the Grand Finals. Both team’s dominant performance during the group stages only served to reaffirm that.

Still, you can’t just count out Fnatic and iG.Vitality yet.

So long as both underdogs bring their A-game tomorrow, they’re well capable of stealing a game, if not the whole series. English stream available on twitch.
