Top Bets for the Week; Last ECS Matches…

With a series of tough matches this week, we’re down to the last battles today, as FaZe Clan takes on EnVyUs. That’s one of the top bets for today, but there are others. Let’s look at each of the matches being played today..

FaZe Clan vs Team EnVyUs

26th October, 2017 – Match 1 (13:00 EDT) and Match 2 (14:00 EDT).

FaZe Clan and Team EnVyUs have played 4 matches against each other with their current rosters. Two of the matches were in the ESL Pro League Season 6 – they were Bo1 and both were won by FaZe Clan. The most recent matches between these teams were in the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2017. There they fought in Bo3 matches and FaZe Clan won the first two matches.

FaZe Clan’s win-rate – 100% per match and 65% per round.

Team EnVyUs’ win-rate – 0% per match and 35% per round.

This is one of the Top Bets for Today –

There’s quite a skill gap here. Team EnVyUs have not been able to defeat FaZe Clan with their current roster. FaZe Clan have a 30% greater chance of winning a round as compared to Team EnVyUs. This is one of the top bets for the day, and a nice opportunity for the betting community.

The odds are 2/7 on FaZe Clan!

Fnatic vs Ninjas in Pyjamas

26th October, 2017 – Match 1 (15:00 EDT) and Match 2 (16:00 EDT).

Ninjas in Pyjamas and Fnatic have faced each other only twice after ECS Season 3. And both those matches were won by Ninjas in Pyjamas. One of the matches went into overtime, and there’s a good chance it could happen again.

Ninjas in Pyjamas’ win-rate – 62% per round.

Fnatic’s win-rate – 38% per round.

It is true that Ninjas in Pyjamas won two of the matches played by these teams against each other, but they are a very unreliable team. There is no doubt that they are a tough team, but the same could be said for Fnatic. This is hardly one of the top bets for today – the match could swing either way.

Team Liquid vs OpTic Gaming

26th October, 2017 – Match 1 (18:00 EDT) and Match 2 (19:00 EDT).

Team Liquid rank 3rd in the North American rankings and OpTic Gaming rank 4th. These teams have already played 4 matches with same rosters. Team Liquid defeated OpTic Gaming at EPICENTER 2017, in Bo3 matches. But it was no easy win for the Liquid squad. And then at the ESL Pro League Season 6, Optic Gaming won both Bo1 matches.

Team Liquid’s win-rate – 50% per match and 47% per round.

OpTic Gaming’s win-rate – 50% per match and 53% per round.

OpTic Gaming does have a 6% better chance of winning a round against Team Liquid. If Team Liquid lose, they will also lose their 3rd place in the North American rankings. Liquid has been playing very well recently, so it might be best to bet on them. OpTic Gaming will also undoubtedly do their best, because they may not get another chance to be one of the top 3 anytime soon.

The odds are 8/11 on Team Liquid!

NRG Esports vs Counter Logic Gaming

26th October, 2017 – Match 1 (20:00 EDT) and Match 2 (21:00 EDT).

NRG Esports hired “RIKO” on trial just 11 days ago (15th October, 2017). NRG Esports have already played 16 matches with this roster and were able to win 8 of those. In the same period, Counter Logic Gaming have played 17 matches and won 7.

NRG Esports’ win-rate – 55% per match.

Counter Logic Gaming’s win-rate – 45% per match.

We’re looking at evenly matched teams here – at least before the changes in NRG’s roster. There is a good chance that each team will win a match today.
