SK Telecom T1 – Release underperforming players
The price of this year’s underperformance seems to be steep as the organization seeks to build another championship roster. The departure of Bang and Wolf still stings for the fans, as they have been members of the organization since its entry into the League of Legends esports scene in 2013. All of the seven members will be part of the great pool of talent that is currently on the market in the free agency period. As for their replacements, no news has surfaced yet, but there are several players rumoured to be in talks with the team, such as Han “Peanut” Wang-ho, Park “Teddy” Jin-seong, Kim “Khan” Dong-ha, Cho “Mata” Se-hyeong, and Kim “Clid” Tae-min.
More news awaits us from the organization and the LCK in general, as Han “Leo” Gyeo-re and Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok’s status in the organization have not been confirmed yet. Both of their contracts have expired November 19th. It is with little doubt that the team will attempt to re-sign Faker and will rebuild around him.
