It’s been a long time coming but Rocket League cross-platform functionality is in the game and LIVE right now! The game had previously allowed players to PC players to play against PS4 players, but Sony’s intransigence around the issue of cross-platform play with Xbox had held up Psyonix from making the game completely cross-platform.

That decision has opened the door for other games and top of the list was Rocket League – a game that many pros, whether on PC or Console, will play with a controller and thus a natural fit for Cross-Platform play.
This is just the second game that Sony has allowed this feature to be implemented and is a huge win for gamers no matter what platform they use.
