Yes, here are plenty of betting predictions for Season 6 of the ESL Pro League, and for good reason – these are the last battles before the playoffs. There are good bets, there are decent bets, and there are matches you shouldn’t touch with a ten-foot pole. Our analysts have put in careful pointers to help you out as you take advantage of the last week of the ESL Pro league!
In the European section 4 teams have already made it to the Playoffs, and now only a slot for one more team is remains. The qualified teams are Fnatic, North, Astralis and FaZe Clan. The North American Region still has 3 slots open, because other than SK Gaming, OpTic Gaming and Team Liquid, none have qualified for the Playoffs.
Here are the remaining battles this week, with match betting predictions and insights as to which team will enter the playoffs. Let’s start with the European matches. All the matches are scheduled at same time, that is, on the 11th of November, 2017, with Match 1 at 20:00 CET and Match 2 at 21:10 CET.
Ninjas in Pyjamas Vs Team EnVyUs
These teams have fought 8 matches against each other, and both sides won 4 matches each. This clearly gives them a 50% chances of winning against each other. None of the matches entered overtime. Ninjas in Pyjamas won 57% of the matches played with their current roster and Team EnVyUs have won 53%. The only way Team EnVyUs could enter the Playoffs is to win both the matches. But if Ninjas in Pyjamas wins even a single match or even enters overtime, it will be end for Team EnVyUs. Because Ninjas in Pyjamas require just 1 more point to qualify for the Playoffs.
The betting predictions below are ONLY for live bettors –
We recommend that you hold off from betting on this pair, as they are too equally matched, and things could swing either way. However, if one team chooses a map at which they are weak, then you could pick up something on a live bet. So here are the stats…
The best maps for Ninjas in Pyjamas are Overpass with a 64% win-rate, Cache with a 62% win rate, and Train with 61%. Team EnVyUs’ best maps are Train with a 61% win-rate, Cobblestone with 55%, and Cache with 53%.
G2 Esports Vs Fnatic
Fnatic have already entered the Playoffs and G2 Esports just need 2 points to qualify. This means that if they even manage enter overtime in both the matches and lose, they still qualify for the Playoffs. But can they do it? Both teams recently fought in the ECS S4 and both won and lost a match playing against each other. This was the only time they ever fought with their current rosters. Fnatic have a 58% win-rate with their current roster and G2 Esports have 64%.
One team’s best maps are other team’s worst map; it seems they can both counter each other. This ensures that G2 Esports will win a match out of two Bo1 matches, because each team gets a chance to pick and ban a map in each match. This is a great opportunity for live bettors! If Fnatic picks a map they win and if G2 Esports picks they win. And if this happens with G2 Esports, the defending champions will enter the Playoffs.
The odds are 6/9 on G2 Esports!
Heroic Vs Team LDLC
These teams have fought once before with their current rosters in the ECS S4 Development matches. They were equally matched then. Both the teams have lost their chance to enter the Playoffs, but if they manage to stay in the top 11 they directly qualify for the ESL Pro League Season 7 – Playoffs qualifier.
Heroic’s current win-rate with their roster is 47% and Team LDLC’s current win-rate is 54%. Team LDLC leads in league stats as well, they have won 46% of the matches whereas Heroic have just won 37% of the matches. In ‘Mirage,’ Heroic is not as good as Team LDLC. If Team LDLC bans Mirage in both the matches, Heroic do not have a good chance winning against them. If LDLC bans Mirage, LDLC are a very good bet!
The odds are 5/10 on Team LDLC!
GODSENT Vs Hellraisers
This will be their first match with their current rosters. Hellraisers still have a chance to enter top 6 if they win both their matches against GODSENT.
If Hellraisers manage to win these two matches, Team EnVyUs will lose their chance to enter the top 6 even if they win their own slated matches. If Ninjas in Pyjamas and G2 Esports managed to win even a single match in overtime, Hellraisers will not be able to match their scores even after winning both these matches.
Hellraisers’ current win-rate is 62% and GODSENT’s is just 35%. There is a considerable difference in their win-rates – GODSENT are almost near below average performance. But GODSENT can surprise us, like they did when they defeated Fnatic twice. Very unstable pair, do not bet on them, even though it looks Hellraisers have a good chance to win.
FaZe Clan Vs Natus Vincere
The only time these teams fought after changes in their rosters was in the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2017. There, FaZe Clan dominated Natus Vincere 16:6. If FaZe Clan had not shown such mediocre performances in last 3 weeks, we would have ranked this match a sure win for FaZe Clan. Is Olofmeister’s injury acting up again? His playing seems to be slightly off. If we look at their stats for the last 3 weeks, they have not even won 50% of the matches. They are still in much better shape than Natus Vincere.
FaZe Clan still have an overall win-rate of 70%, which is one of the best win-rates in CS:GO. Natus Vincere’s win-rate is just 45%. Except for Train, Natus Vincere has almost no chance to win against FaZe Clan in any map. Bet on FaZe Clan.
The odds are 8/10 on FaZe Clan!
North Vs BIG
This is the very first encounter between these Esports organizations. BIG is currently at the bottom of the leader board, and North have already qualified for the Playoffs and rank 2nd on the ladder.
North’s current win-rate with their current roster is 62% and BIG’s win-rate is 57%. BIG plays very inconsistently and sometimes win ‘big’ but sometimes lose very badly. This league is a good example of it. This pair is not worth betting on, but if you still want to bet, pick North. They have performed really well in the league and BIG have not been able to make an impact here.
The odds are 4/6 on North!
Astralis Vs mousesports
These teams recently met in the ECS S4 in similar matches. There Astralis won match 1, and match 2 went in to overtime three times and was finally won by mousesports. This was their first battle with their current rosters. Astralis is already in the Playoffs and mousesports now could not enter Playoffs even if they beat Astralis in both the matches.
Astralis have a 64% win-rate, which is above average. On the other hand, mousesports are just average with a 54% win-rate. Now, mousesports must fight to stay in the top 11 and to get an invitation for Season 7.
Those were the European teams, and now we come to the American ones. Let’s tell you the timings of the matches first. All the matches are scheduled at same time, that is on the 11th of November. Match 1 is at 20:00 EST, and Match 2 is at 21:10 EST.
Misfits Vs Cloud9
Misfits have not faced the new Cloud9 roster yet. This will be their first face off. This is going to be the most interesting of all the matches, because both are at the borderline of qualifying for the Playoffs. Winning a single match does not guarantee a spot in the top 6 for Cloud9, and there could be a tie in between Misfits and Luminosity Gaming. If Misfits win only one match, that is.
With 81 wins out of 144 matches, Misfits have a 56% win-rate and Cloud9’s performances are above average with a 66% win-rate. These are their stats with their current roster. Cloud9 have already qualified for the ECS S4 Playoffs, let us see if they can qualify here. Their chances are good but Misfits are not to be underestimated. But one can bet on Cloud9 because they rank better than Misfits in all the maps, except Nuke. There is no chance that Cloud9 will lose both the matches, and a good chance they will both.
The odds are 10/12 on Cloud9!
NRG Esports Vs Immortals
Both the teams have been through some changes in their rosters. NRG Esports have won 4 matches out of 6 played with their current roster. Immortals have lost 4 out of 6 matches with their current roster. The difference is that NRG Esports won against Misfits, Team Liquid and Luminosity Gaming; and Immortals lost against Splyce and Team One.
This makes it clear who will win in this pair. One could say this is a sure win for NRG Esports, and it will be best to bet on them. If NRG Esports win this, they are in the Playoffs, even with winning a single match.
The odds are 4/5 on NRG Esports!
Team Liquid Vs Renegades
Last month these teams fought for the very first time after Renegades changed their roster. And Team Liquid won 16:14; which was a win, but rather close. Team Liquid are in the Playoffs and do not have to worry about winning or losing against Renegades. Renegades’ place in the top 11 is also certain. But even if they win these matches they still cannot make it to the Playoffs, as the score difference is much more than 6 points.
Team Liquid have a 60% win-rate with their current roster and Renegades have a 57% win-rate with theirs. There is good chance Renegades will win at least one match out of two. Bet on Renegades – if they win you will win a lot, and if they lose you won’t lose much.
The odds are 5/10 on Renegades!
