Pajkatt & Biver Leave CIS Team NaVi

Per Andres Olsson ‘Pajkatt’ Lille and Malthe ‘Biver’ Winther, both of which joined team NaVi in December of 2016, will no longer represent the black and yellow, as per the team’s statement via their official blog.

Big Changes Coming To Team NaVi

Both player’s decision to leave the team doesn’t really come off as a surprise. Especially after Natus Vincere’s CEO, Yevhen Zoloratov revealed in an earlier interview his plans to make changes, among many other things, to the organisation’s Dota 2 squad.

Pajkatt and Biver must have known that the organisation was eventually going to drop them; the former likely aware of his failure to guide NaVi to any noteworthy success during his time as team captain.

This is Natus Vincere’s second big announcement in as many days; the team earlier announced the return of Alexander ‘XBOCT’ Dashkevic to the organisation, albeit in a supporting role as the new coach of the team.

While the roster change comes way ahead of Natus Vincere’s planned schedule, the organisation should not feel pressured to make a move so soon.

The International 7 is about to kick off and the post-TI shuffle always brings a lot of new talent on the table.

Resolut1on to Team NaVi (?)

If they are looking to add someone to the team immediately, though, Roman ‘Resolut1on’ Fomino might just be available.

Resolut1on is a proven winner who currently plays carry for Planet Odd, the former Digital Chaos squad who took 2nd place at The International 6.

For whatever reason, however, the team seems to have hit a slump in recent months and are currently struggling to stay relevant. Planet Odd have mostly only made early exits at LANs and even failed to qualify for The International 7.

Following Planet Odd’s devastating Grand Finals loss to Team Liquid at the recently concluded DreamLeague Season 7, Resolut1on immediately made it clear that he’s tired of losing.

Natus Vincere isn’t exactly in top form right now; the team hasn’t won a LAN title since way back in 2016, but who knows? A change of scenery may just be what he needs to start winning again.

Who do you think Natus Vincere will add to their roster in the coming days? Will they drop anyone else? Be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments down below.
