Nicolas Villalba reaches the top of Global Series PlayStation Playoffs

Nicolas “Nicolas99FC” Villalba started the FIFA 19 Global Series PlayStation Playoffs as the No.1 Playstation player, and with an undefeated run that included wins against No.3 Stefano Pinna, Mohammed “MoAuba” Harkouz and in the final against No.4 Lev “Mkers LevVinken” Vinken, he proved that he was deserving of the top spot.

The win in Hamburg nets him $75,000, and is another trophy after his win in the eClub World Cup and the Gfinity March LQE. It secures his place in the FIFA eWorld Cup alongside the top 16 PlayStation players according to the Global Series Rankings, they will be joined by the top 16 Xbox players who secured qualification last weekend in the Xbox Global Series Playoffs.

FIFA eWorld Cup returns to The O2 in London on 2-4 August with the top 32 players throughout the world competing head-to-head for a $250,000 top prize and title of World Champion. 

The event is set to be highly competitive with several players having claims at being the best in the world with the foremost being Donovan “F2Tekkz” Hunt, Nicolas99FC and last year’s winner Mossad “Msdossary” Aldossary.
