Week 1 of the LPL 2018 Spring Split is over, with a few upsets which perhaps nobody expected happening. Both EDG and WE lost some series which they really could have won. It’s definitely still early in the season, but if two of the best teams in the league have already dropped series, it’s harder to call who will win already.
Below, we take a look at the games happening at the LPL 2018 Spring Split next week, and tell you which ones are our favourites to bet on.
Team WE vs. Snake Tuesday 23rd 10:00 am (CET) 1.43 vs. 2.87
A lot of the time the bookies simply go on who, on paper, is the better team. However, the reason, this is such an interesting bet to place is that not only did WE lose this weekend, but Snake won. Furthermore, Snake beat EDG, who are on the same level as WE, at least they were last season.
This is what makes this a very shrewd bet indeed. A team which is capable of beating EDG, is, in theory, capable of beating WE. The odds are damn good, at almost 3:1 it’s definitely worth a punt.
EDG vs. BLG January 26th 10:00 am (CET) 1.3 vs. 3.54
Taking a look at the previous games on the weekend, BLG managed to defeat WE. Taking this into consideration, just like our other game, there’s a good chance that BLG can take down EDG. At such massive odds in favour of EDG, the odds on BLG to win, especially taking into considering what happened on Sunday seem a little high.
In Esports, it’s always hard to call. Just look at TSM in the NA LCS week 1, going 0-2. Practically every single power rankings had them at the very top, and now they’ve been beaten by TL and FlyQuest. That is why Esports better is so interesting, it’s kind of like the Premier League in Football. This is definitely one which you should consider better on, BLG looked pretty strong vs. WE and so they definitely have a chance at taking down EDG.
These are our ones to watch in the LPL 2018 Spring Split. There’s plenty of games to bet on, and plenty of other games should League not tickle your fancy. Furthermore, the bets we’ve listed above are the ones which we think have good odds, compared to the chances of them actually paying out.
