LebronDota Takes His Talents to Natus Vincere

The 27-year-old professional Dota 2 player Nikola ‘LeBronDotaPopović will complete the five-man lineup of Natus Vincere’s Dota 2 squad for the rest of the season following the departure of their team captain and position 5 support player, Akbar ‘SoNNeikO‘ Butaev.

LeBronDota is a name known only to the most ardent of Dota 2 fans. He first appeared in a professional Dota 2 match back in 2015 and have yet to find his footing in the scene since. It is worth noting, however, that he did play as a sub for Natus Vincere back in 2015, but that stint lasted only two months. He also played as a stand-in for Natus Vincere during the Regional Qualifiers for the GESC Minor earlier in the season, helping them qualify for the said event. Hopefully, his tenure with the black and yellow lasts much longer this time around.

Who Is LeBronDota?

Most Dota 2 fans would not know who LeBronDota is. He’s neither the flashiest player, nor has he played for other big name squads before. In fact, save for his previous stints with Natus Vincere, LeBronDota has only spent time exclusively playing in Tier 2/3 CIS teams. This includes, among others, smaller organizations such as Elements Pro Gaming and Double Dimension.

He is described to have a playstyle that’s unusually aggressive for a position 5 support player. He also gained notoriety back in 2016 when he topped the Faceit Pro League. Although LebronDota may not come with many accolades, he is not short on ambition and drive to prove himself.

Hopefully, now that he has an organization like Natus Vincere backing him up full-time, the Serbian Dota 2 player can focus on just playing the game and proving that he belongs among the best in the world.
