BREAKING: FUTWIZ signs Connor “Richy” Rich, now FUTWIZ RICHY

Xbox player Connor “Richy” Rich has signed for Team FUTWIZ on the eve of the Berlin finals for FUT Champions. Connor will go by the name FUTWIZ RICHY in future competitions. One of which is the upcoming FIWC which will take place in London in August. He joins FUTWIZ PRICEY and FUTWIZ Louie on the UK roster of Team FUTWIZ.

Who is FUTWIZ RICHY?

Richy has been a name almost all Xbox FUT competitors are familiar with. His name has been a staple at the top of the weekly and monthly leaderboards. FIFA17 has seen him grace the top 10 overall ranks in the Xbox division 5 times, finishing 3rd twice.

FUTWIZ RICHY had a strong showing and finished in the top 8 at this year’s first FUT Champions regionals in Paris. This earned him a spot at the upcoming FIWC regionals. Richy favours an attacking 4-3-3 (2) formation which is heavily laden with La Liga superstars.

FUTWIZ making waves

Team FUTWIZ has been making a lot of moves recently. The signing of FUTWIZ RICHY comes on the heels of another good signing of FUTWIZ JAMIE just 2 days ago. Jamie placed a solid 6th in Vancouver which surely caught Team FUTWIZ’s eyes. Team FUTWIZ now boasts 6 players, 3 from UK and 3 from Australia. Is another 3 from the Americas region on the cards?

FUTWIZ DAN, the owner of the FUTWIZ site and team has stated

“We’re incredibly excited to be able to announce the signing of Richy, with the caliber of player he is we’ve obviously been aware of him for some time, naturally upon learning that he recently became a free agent he was someone we identified very quickly as a player we’d love to add to the team. He’s had incredible results online and shown that he’s got that same ability at live events, having progressed from his group and secured a Top 8 finish in Paris- amongst one of the most difficult fields we’ve ever seen in a FUT live tournament.”

With the FUT Champions finals about to begin in Berlin, we expect more signings to be announced in the coming days and weeks. There are at least 15 free agents competing this weekend, which includes recent Madrid regionals overall champion – Daniele “Prinsipe” Paolucci. With the FIWC qualifiers coming up, the hottest talents would want to be snapped up by the growing eSports teams.
