FUT Champions Cup 4: Atlanta Preview – Kurt is back!

This weekend’s FUT Champions Cup takes over the pond for the first time in modern FIFA history for FUT Champions Cup 4! Atlanta is the chosen city and it’s perhaps no surprise, it’s a city that is building a reputation as a premiere esports destination with high-class facilities and a number of esports teams calling it home. The tournament will take place at Turner Studios, home of the ELEAGUE.

This FUT Champions Cup comes on the back of a major patch to the game that “nerfed” the first-time shot that many felt was overpowered and also see’s the first appearance of the season for Kurt “Kurt04011” Fenech, after serving his ban and vowing to never play the game again. Many are still not happy with the state of the game and Kurt is one of them and whatever happens this weekend you can be sure the man from Malta will have his say.

It’s set to be one of the most competitive Champions Cups of the year with the some of the most consistent players making the trip to the USA, including Nicolas Villalba, Stefano Pinna, Donovan “Tekkz” Hunt and Mossad “Msdossary” Aldossary. The latter two looking for their second Champions Cup of the season. Missing out is last month’s FUT Champions Cup 3 winner DullenMike, who failed to qualify.
