Elimination Matches begin at DreamHack Winter

The Initial matches are complete, and losing teams from both groups will now face each other in the elimination matches. In Group A here, we have Rise Nation and Heroic, with BIG and North Academy facing each other in Group B. Gambit Esports did win against Rise Nation, but the victory was not an easy one. The difference in their scores amounted to just six rounds, which is not a big difference, as Rise Nation are ranked very much lower than Gambit. If Rise Nation keep playing this way, we may well see them winning Major leagues in future. On the other hand Heroic lost against Natus Vincere in the initial matches, even though they dominated in the first half. Natus Vincere staged a big comeback in the second half and took the match from Heroic.

In Group B, as predicted, North Academy lost badly against mousesports. They were only able to score six rounds in the match. The second match in Group B was amazing. BIG and Team EnVyUs clashed in Cache, and ended with a draw. The match went into overtime, and BIG won two rounds out of three in the first half. Team EnVyUs then hit back hard, winning all the rounds in the second half of overtime. Now North Academy will face BIG in these Elimination matches.

The Elimination Matches – Heroic Vs Rise Nation

These teams performed very well in the initial matches, especially Rise Nation. It’s not going to be easy for Heroic to take down Rise Nation. Heroic have a forty four percent chance of defeating Rise Nation in an offline match, and both the teams have a fifty percent chance of winning a round. These two teams are more or less equal, and a match could turn either way. Heroic have a win-rate of a mere fifty percent in most maps. That’s barring Cache, where they show little ability to win at all. Rise Nation have won all their matches in Cobblestone, and they are also good in Overpass with two wins and one loss. They are also almost equal to Heroic in every other match, except Cache, since Rise Nation have not played in Cache in offline matches.

A sure win in Match Two, as BIG will dominate North Academy

North Academy provides us with another sure win in Group B, this time in the elimination matches. When you place a stake, a team that loses reliably is really your very best friend. This is a bad time for them, but a profitable one for us. BIG clearly outrank North Academy in every possible way, whether it be in matches, rounds, pistol rounds or overall domination in maps.

There is no way North Academy could win against BIG

BIG may not have been able to win any Premier league since their debut this year, but they have defeated many top teams in the Major leagues. Though Heroic do have a reasonable chance against Rise Nation, we recommend this as the stake of the day. The odds are running at 1.18 on BIG, so place all the funds you are willing to stake on them, and win ‘BIG’.
