CSGO DreamHack Winter Open – Semifinals preview and predictions

All our predictions for the Decider matches were spot on, and those who placed money on them have won big. With those Decider matches done, CSGO teams in Jönköping move into the Semifinals. The Group A Decider match was between Natus Vincere and Heroic. As we predicted, Heroic did give Natus Vincere a tough time but were not able to defeat them. The surprise came when Heroic, after losing to Na`Vi in the initial map, defeated them in the second one, and won the mapby seven rounds. The two teams then made a ‘heroic’ battle of it in Train, but Heroic failed to hold Na`Vi and lost the third match. And that was only the first of our CSGO predictions to go right.

Mousesports crushed BIG

The Second decider match was between mousesports and BIG, and again, as we predicted, mousesports dominated BIG in a best of three LAN match. The match started with Overpass and mousesports dominated the first half by winning eleven rounds. BIG hit back hard in the second half, but ultimately folded before the aggressive ‘mice’. However, that was just the beginning, as mousesports then went on to massacre BIG in the second map, Mirage. BIG managed to score just three rounds in that match.

CSGO Predictions – Gambit Esports Vs mousesports

These teams are quite evenly matched in LAN matches. Gambit have won a best of one against mousesports, but mousesports have won two best of three matches against Gambit. Each encounter was close, with one of the matches going into overtime twice. Mousesports have a sixty percent chance of winning a LAN match, as opposed to Gambit’s fifty percent. Bans and picks will decide the winner here, but mousesports are proficient in a greater number of maps than Gambit. Place your stake on a mouse-dominated CSGO universe here, with the odds running at 1.89 on mousesports.

CSGO Predictions – Team EnVyUs Vs Natus Vincere

Natus Vincere’s new lineup move into this match with their third LAN victory under their belts, and they’ve shown that they are really good at Inferno and Train. Of course, EnVyUs have faced Na`Vi’s current roster yet, but both these teams have fought against Heroic, and Na`Vi’s performance there was twenty five percent better than EnVyUs’. However, if EnVyUs can ban Inferno and Train, they then have a good chance of winning, since these are Natus Vincere’s best maps and EnVyUs’ worst ones. The odds are running at 2.51 on Team EnVyUs, and you’d do best to place a stake on them.
