Half of this week’s competitive Overwatch League matches are done with, and Seoul Dynasty have completely dominated the League, as we foresaw might happen. Seoul Dynasty won both their matches this week, which puts their score at 6-0. This means that Seoul Dynasty will continue to be the highest ranked team here even if the other top teams win their matches.
If you’ll remember, in stage one, the map pool was changed after week three. Blizzard are yet to confirm whether they will do the same in stage two. If they do, we will see a different map pool for weeks four and five, which should alter the balance of power to some extent. Most of the remaining competitive Overwatch matches in this week are between the top teams here, which yields good odds for Esportsranks bettors. Here are the best matches to bet on.
Earn four times the stake on a competitive Overwatch match
London Spitfire (LDN) Vs Boston Uprising (BOS)
Of course, BOS have hardly played exceptional Overwatch in stage two, which explains the high odds. However, something similar happened in stage one, there BOS lost all their matches except one, before facing LDN. Their match was drawn into overtime and BOS took LDN down. There is actually a very good chance that this will happen in stage two as well. The odds on BOS are running at 5.00, and make for a very reasonable wager, where even a small stake could potentially garner exceptional winnings.
Stake on sure wins in competitive Overwatch Matches
New York Excelsior (NYE) Vs Philadelphia Fusion (PHI) – A Sure win
PHI is the only team that were able to win against NYE in the weekly matches in Stage one. They’ll be meeting NYE once again in stage two. However, history is unlikely to repeat itself, as PHI are not playing in exceptional form, and the maps selected for this match are all against them. NYE, on the other hand, are really playing optimally, and this battle is going to be entirely one-sided. For a sure win, odds of 1.25 on NYE are reasonable. Bet high and increase your pool of winnings this week.
Florida Mayhem (FLA) Vs Houston Outlaws (HOU) – A Sure win
This is another opportunity to rake in the winnings. From where we stand, FLA look like the second weakest team in the Overwatch League. The only match they won was against SHD, and SHD certainly are the weakest team of all. Things don’t look good for FLA here, but at odds of 1.25 being offered on HOU, this represents another opportunity to place a stake on a sure win here. Odds of 1.25 on HOU are much more than FLA are worth, and do not at all reflect HOU’s massive chances of a win here.
