CompLexity Gaming complete their lower bracket run at the Captains Draft 4 NA Qualifiers with a decisive 3-0 sweep of Immortals to secure themselves a slot in the first Pro Circuit LAN tournament of 2018.
An Up and Coming Powerhouse
Kyle ‘melonzz’ Freedman and his team had a strong showing in their Pro Circuit LAN debut at the Starladder Minor. They pulled off a 2-0 upset of Newbee before following it up with a 2-1 win against Natus Vincere to secure themselves a Top 4 finish. Unfortunately, they’d find their match in Mineski at the semifinals, who defeated them 2-1.
In addition to their solid performance at the Starladder Minor, CompLexity Gaming qualified for the Perfect World Masters Minor, which is set to start later this month. This makes the Captains Draft 4.0 Minor the third Pro Circuit LAN that CompLexity Gaming have secured this season.
This early success means a lot for a team who struggled to qualify for LAN tournaments all of last season. Especially when it comes on the heels of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and real estate investor John Goff purchasing a majority stake in the team.
With that said, everything just seems to be clicking right for the long-running North American Esports organisation.
CompLexity Gaming Lineup:

- David ‘Moo‘ Hull

By winning the Captains Draft 4 NA Qualifiers, CompLexity Gaming will now join Midas Club Victory, Evil Geniuses, Team Secret and Mineski, as well as 3 more qualifier teams at the Captains Draft 4.0 Minor in Washington, DC on January 4-7 2018.
Captains Draft 4.0 is the 4th iteration of one of the most unique tournaments in Dota 2. As seen in the qualifiers, team will not play the game in the usual “Captain’s Mode”. Instead, the participants will play each other in the seldom-used mode, “Captain’s Draft”.
