Seoul Dynasty are back in action in stage two of the the Overwatch League, and currently at the top of the ladder. However, the usual contenders are doing their best to take their place. That includes New York Excelsior, London Spitfire and Houston Outlaws, the same teams that more or less dominated stage one. If Seoul Dynasty can stand up to the opposition over the coming week they’ll probably dominate the event. There are some excellent matches one could bet on in this week. Here are the best Overwatch League bets for the first two days.
The best Overwatch League Sure Win for Today
Los Angeles Valiant (VAL) Vs Los Angeles Gladiators (GLA)
This match is a sure win at good odds. VAL are without a doubt the stronger team here. The maps chosen are all ones that favour VAL, which only goes to lower GLA’s chances further. Just about the only map which looks a little doubtful for VAL is Lijiang Tower, where GLA just might be able to battle through to a draw. VAL have virtually double GLA’s win rate in every other map that is due to be played. The odds are currently running at 1.43. That is very reasonable for what is virtually a sure win. Go ahead and bet high on certain winnings.
Dallas Fuel (DAL) Vs San Francisco Shock (SFS)
These teams have been consistently beaten by teams with a better talent pool, and have only managed to win against teams that are more or less equal to them in skill, or not their equals at all. DAL have been performing better than SFS, and the maps here massively favour DAL. They have a clear advantage in two of the four maps chosen, and are equal to SFS in the other two. The odds on Dallas Fuel are running at 1.46, which is very good for a low-risk bet. They certainly have the best chance of a win here.
The best Overwatch League Odds in Week Three
Houston Outlaws (HOU) Vs Los Angeles Valiant (VAL) – Double your Stake
HOU are a very skilled team, but they do have their weaknesses, and all of those are going to be worked upon in this match. HOU have a win rate of a mere thirty percent in two of the four maps chosen for this encounter. That’s actually the ‘good’ news. The bad news is that HOU’s win rate is zero, nada, nil in the other two maps. It doesn’t take an ace analyst to predict that they’re going down here.
There’s more. HOU are extremely weak in Ilios, the map chosen for overtime. While VAL are good in just two of the maps chosen, that’s still light years ahead of HOU, and if the match goes into overtime, VAL will have an advantage there as well. The odds on VAL are excellent, running at 2.55, so this is an excellent match on which to double a stake.
