The 2018 EU LCS Spring Split has entered the second day of it’s second week! We’re really excited to see the teams perform – especially a few underrated teams that have shown true potential so far. The most outstanding of these teams is Vitality, who against the odds, came out on top against the most daunting opponents. We’re excited to see what today’s matches will bring and are sure they’ll be even better than yesterday’s.
Here is our take on which teams will win their match ups against their opponents in the 2018 EU LCS Spring Split and go home with their heads high:
Giants vs. H2K
Between both teams, H2K has been the more predictable one. We’re been able to determine whether they’ll win or lose with good accuracy. Giants, on the other hand, are trickier to work with.
They’ve won match ups that they weren’t supposed to in the past. We can pin this match up’s victory on Giants due to their extraordinary win against G2 yesterday. A win like that deserves confidence, and we’re giving ours to the Giants.
ROCCAT vs. UOL
Time to redeem ourselves, we will give our everything today!
Thank you for being so patient with us 💕

During this week’s preview of what might happen in the upcoming matches, we said that UOL might make a turnaround. They were paired up against Schalke and ROCCAT, two of the easier teams to deal with. UOL failed to successfully take on Schalke, and although they’re confident that they’ll defeat ROCCAT, we can’t be too sure anymore. We’ll give them one final vote before moving on completely.
This will be UOL’s final chance to get back in the game with some dignity left. This could very well be UOL’s time to stand up and reclaim their position as a legend of the EU LCS.
Misfits vs. Vitality
Before yesterday, we thought that the best match of the week would be Fnatic vs. G2. However, seeing Vitality’s win over Fnatic yesterday, we’ve reconsidered. Misfits are one of the final teams that Vitality must defeat to claim dominance over the entire region. Should Vitality win today, they’ll be the undefeated, and most feared team around.
In the preview, we said that Misfits would reign supreme, but right now, it seems like Vitality might take it all. This team has defied everything in its path this far. It might just go further still.
Schalke 04 vs. Splyce
These teams have yet to prove themselves as a force to be reckoned with. So far, however, Splyce has shown greater plays, and seems to be in a better spot than Schalke. Between these two, we think Splyce will be taking the win today.
Fnatic vs. G2 Esports
For the top teams in the EU LCS last year, these teams have sorely disappointed us. G2, however, is looking far worse than Fnatic after their loss against Schalke 04. Both teams are ready to regain their former glory too, so it’s difficult to determine which team will fight more fiercely.
A ton of hate is coming our way, which is kinda rare to experience being part of @FNATIC. Understandable that our fans are angry and disappointed, but know that we share the same feelings. And we're not giving up due to some losses here and there, the main goal remains the same! pic.twitter.com/EQJ0pwBGyu

For now, we’ll side with Fnatic. We think this team has a stronger team comp, and better chances of making it through this match as the winner.
